Genesis being one of the first row brands of premiumluxury sedans, is now ready for the next edition of its flagship model G90 with a newenchanting style after increasing its width while sprinkling few diamond drops on its smooth exterior surface.
Genesis branching out from the parent brand Hyundai to focus more on luxury appointments has already thrown a challenge by moving at par with the A-Grade manufacturing brands, namely, Mercedes Benz, Audi and the like. With the launch of the 2020 G90, Genesis has taken its steps even further that has raised the eyebrows in the society of critics, and because of this people are thronging to the dealerships to take a glance at this new model of Genesis G90 sedan, and we were no exception. We established a contact with the Santa Rosa Genesis dealership and requested them to update us with the news whenever the model hits the dealership.
The 2020 Design Changes
Most of the changes that are going to take for the 2020 model year inside and out of the G90 series, will be nothing beyond some cosmetic ones. It will be starting with the Horizontal alignment of the brand’s Architecture that will be used as its styling theme. Amongthem the most noticeable part will be the wide grille having five sides, probably flanked by the headlamps that will have horizontally shaped light bars running through them all the way to meet the arches of front wheels. The hood as well as the fenders will be new too, with relocated vents featuring a horizontal bar againto match the rest of the crafting.
The new 2020 model of the Genesis G90 series is going to feature a decklid placed at a higher plane ending with a sharply cut upper edge, while the taillamps in spite of having full-width look linear showing how thesignature futuristic lights of Genesis might look like.
There will be a generous usage of diamond shaped patterns both inside and out of the 2020 Genesis G90 so much so, that it will be curved even on the lacy 19-inch wheels apart from the surface of the interior upholstery.
Interior Luxury Appointments
Coming to the interior, the 2020 G90 models will be boasting a big 12.3-inch touchscreen display to highlight its infotainment system that can now be updated even wirelessly, while the cabin surfaces will probably be decked up with some new new copper accents. The dual climate-control system that can automatically turn its recirculation mode whenever the car enters any tunnel will be calmed down with an excellent noise-canceling technology that will enhance the peaceful environment in the already serene interior space.
Driving and Riding
The Genesis dealer near Santa Rosa though could not provide us any exact date of its release, could assure this much that all the rear-wheel-drive models of the 2020 G90 from Genesis will be powered by a 365-hp making 3.3-liter V-6 twin-turbocharged engine at the base while the higher trims might get a zippier 420-hp making 5.0-liter V-8 engine that will do justice to the power by driving with all-four wheels.
